In compliance with your letter no. 13 of 4th instant, I have the honour to forward the following report on the Sunday Cargo Working Ordinance 1891.

The Ordinance came into force on the 1st August 1891, and up to the 31st May 1892, ninety-seven permits were issued.

During the last seven months of 1892, ninety-two permits were issued to ships of the following nationalities:

The Honourable, G. S. M. O'Brien, C.M.G., Colonial Secretary.
